2019 Visit Montreal/ Quebec City with the MCHS, June 16-19
Are you thinking about what to do next spring to celebrate the end of the long, hard winter ahead? The Montgomery County Historical Society is looking ahead and has scheduled an exciting Montreal/Quebec City French Canadian 4-Day Tour from June 16-19, 2019. Sign up now for this site-filled trip sponsored by the MCHS for just $1,299 per person.
The tour group will depart from Indianapolis Airport on Sunday, June 16. Upon arrival in Montreal an Orientation tour that includes the Golden Square Mile around McGill University, downtown Montreal, Olympic Park and St. Joseph’s Oratory is scheduled. After dinner comes a spectacular “Montreal by Night” tour and then checking into the hotel.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are packed with visits to sites in Montreal and Quebec City. Some sites include: Admission to the Biodome that transcends visitors from an Arctic experience to a tropical rain forest experience seeing 4,000 animals and 200 species; and Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal. Quebec City: “Quebec by Night”; tour of Beaupre Coast; Montmorency Falls (tallest in North America); entertainment at Cabane á Sucre; sightseeing tour of Quebec City that includes Assemblée; Citadel, and Charmed Old Walled Quarter plus many other sites.

2019 Civic Band Concerts
Dates will be announced in early 2019. The Civic Band Concerts are held on the grounds in the Pattison Pavilion from 3 to 5 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the beautiful music by the Montgomery County Civic Band. Gary Ketchum is the director of the MCCB.
