2018 Christmas at Lane Place, Nov. 24th

Enjoy a Lane Place Victorian Christmas Tour for $10, with $2 going to Shopping With A Firefighter ! Take pictures with Santa and tell him what you would like for Christmas!  Partake in a festive treat while listening to Christmas music floating across the Lane Place grounds!

2019 Visit Savannah, GA & Charleston, SC with the MCHS, June 23-28

The Montgomery County Historical Society of Crawfordsville, Indiana is planning a motorcoach trip to Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina on June 23 – 28, 2019.  The cost for the 6 days – 5 nights tour is $749.00 for double occupancy with $150.00 deposit due by November 17, 2018.  Payment can be made out to White Star Tours and sent to Steve Frees at 313 East Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville, Indiana   47933.

The travel package includes 5 night lodging, 5 breakfasts , Southern Style buffet lunch at Paula Dean’s The Lady and Sons, 2 full course dinners, guided tours of Savannah and Charleston, Charleston City Market, tour of Ft. Sumter, Magnolia Plantation Home and Nature Tram tour, Charleston Harbor Cruise, River Street District, Savannah Theater, motorcoach transportation and more!  All taxes and gratuities are included.

2019 Civic Band Concerts

Dates will be announced in early 2019. The Civic Band Concerts are held on the grounds in the Pattison Pavilion from 3 to 5 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the beautiful music by the Montgomery County Civic Band. Gary Ketchum is the director of the MCCB.
