Dorothy Q Chapter, NSDAR
In 2023, the Dorothy Q Chapter, NSDAR, turned 125 years old, but our historic chapter house, The Elston Memorial Home, is over 140 years old. The house is significant for its historic association with a family prominent in the development of Crawfordsville. Also, it is architecturally significant as a superb example of the eastern stick style, and for the excellence of its craftsmanship, detailing, and high degree of integrity.
To learn more, please schedule a tour of our lovely, old home next door to Lane Place – the historic home of Senator Henry & Johanna Elston Lane.
