National Volunteer Week

This week is National Volunteer Week! We just want to take a little time to thank all of our amazing volunteers here at the Montgomery County Historical Society. With a small staff our volunteers are instrumental in accomplishing many of our goals and in creating the historical society that we want to be. Every week we have volunteers who come in to help with office projects, house tours, and yard work. We have special event help during the Strawberry Festival and Christmas at Lane Place . Our local Flower Lovers Garden Club, the oldest garden club in the state, helps maintain our beautiful flower garden and other flowers around the property.

We are blessed by community support and by our amazing volunteers. Thank you to all who have made the MCHS a better place with the gift of your time.
